The Italian gambling market is again a focus for the political agenda, thanks to the Fiscal Decree and the Budget Law 2019. The Fiscal Decree is at the chamber of deputies at the moment and last week the first amendments have been submitted at the Finance Committee. If they are approved, taxes for slot and videolotteries will grow, a tender for new licences for slot and vlt will be issued and all the gaming and gambling operators will be registered in a “Single Register”.
