China recognises eSports professional as a job. It’s the decision of the Chinese Ministry of human resources and social security that included, in a list of new jobs, some from eSports market.
There are two types of eSports jobs recognised: operators and professionals.
eSports operator is classified as those who organize, create and develop contents for eSports tournaments and events. eSports professional is the player and all his staff, as, for example, the coach and the manager.
China confirms the interest for the eSports market and this decision comes after that in December Shangai government listed eSports players. lp/AGIMEG
